Our estimated fees for providing lasting Powers of Attorney are set out below. This will include attending you to take instructions, providing a draft document for approval, witnessing your signature of the LPA, obtaining the signature of the attorneys on your behalf, and registration of the LPA with the Office of the Public Guardian.
Where you are making a single Power of Attorney (either for Property and Financial Affairs or for health and Welfare) our charges are £300 (plus Vat). If you wish to make both types of LPA, our charges are £500 (plus Vat).
For couples, if you and your partner are both making a single type of Power of Attorney (either two Property and Financial Affairs LPAs or two Health and Welfare LPAs) our charges are £500 (plus Vat). If you both wish to make both types of LPA, our charges are £800 (plus Vat) for the four LPA documents.
Please note that the Government charge a fee of £82 to register each LPA created.
If you wish to creates LPAs at the same time as making a Will, the price quoted above may be reduced.
